ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Aline Lickel, better known as "Ali", a 27 year-old girl living in Amsterdam. Echie and I have been married since 2007. Our favorite activities are cooking, specially for friends and guests, exploring the city, new markets, restaurants and places to have a nice beer or drink. Rodrigo loves making martini, I love drinking it. He also enjoys lego and I, photography.

I have degree in Geography, however, I ended up working with something completely unrelated: I'm visual designer. I design websites, e-books, online campaigns and everything that is digital. I've got a real passion for beauty, art and technology.

We've been living in Amsterdam since 2011 and we love the atmosphere of this city. We're still in the process of exploring it, so it would be nice to have a company to walk around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When you have a passion for travelling, there's nothing more rewarding than helping other travelers.

We had the first contact with CS through a friend of us who hosted a Dutch guy some years ago in São Paulo. We loved the idea and we took part on it.

We really enjoy hosting, taking guests sightseeing and surfing :-)

At the moment, enjoying Doctor Who. But I'm also a big fan of Monty Python. Quite common to watch an episode of Fawlty Towers before going to bed :-)

Movies? Yes, please! Eye Film in Amsterdam is my favourite place to watch movies after my couch.
