I'm a critter enthusiast. I get distracted by squirrels, lizards, feathers, rabbit feces, and pretty much everything else that indicates life. I love hiking, camping, canoeing, and going on adventures of all sorts.

PHILOSOPHY

I adore the God who chose to die so that I could get to know His love. I live to love as He does.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed couches in Indonesia, met some travelers in Uganda, and explored some more in Spain in January 2014!

Animals, birding, biking, canoeing, drawing, fluting, hiking, languages, movies, music.

I am fluent in English only, but have studied French, Indonesian, Spanish, Greek, Arabic, and Sign language, and am fascinated by all languages! Hoping to learn some more Dutch at some point in life too!

I have also hobby bred rabbits for many years, mixing and matching various colours and breeds for fluffy and exciting outcomes.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've been on safari in Uganda, and in addition to the usual giraffes, elephants, birds, and antelope, I also saw an albino hippopotamus!! I didn't even know they existed until that moment, so cool!

Also snorkeled off the shores of Indonesia, saw a blue starfish and swam passed some venomous water snakes!

Animals aside, I've also gone white water rafting on the Nile river!

I can teach basic outdoor survival techniques and basic bird identification, though I'm no pro! I know first aid and water safety techniques as well. I can also bake a few things and I love to sew and do crafts. I am happy to teach any of these!
