Hi, I’m Ali Efe, studying Physics at the Izmir Institute of Technology and working as a student researcher in the Quantum Technology Lab. I’m curious by nature, and I like turning that curiosity into things you can actually use.

I love outdoor activities. I spend a lot of time on the water, lately mostly windsurfing. I got hooked last summer and was out there almost every day; at this point I’m comfortable calling myself a windsurfer. I still enjoy a sailing days, whenever I can.

Travel keeps me open-minded. I enjoy meeting people, swapping stories over food or a walk, and getting to know a place beyond the obvious sights.

On the creative side, I’m into photography and videography. I handle social media work and shoot promo videos, I’m a videographer at heart. Recently I’ve also been learning app development, and I’m working to bring two or three of my own ideas to life.

I have a deep appreciation for music, particularly enjoying the soothing melodies of jazz and the timeless beauty of classical compositions. Among my favorite musicians are Karsu Dönmez, Fazıl Say, and Evgeny Grinko. Although I have a special fondness for these genres and artists, my musical tastes are quite diverse. Recently, I have been captivated by the pulsating energy of rave music, which has added a new dimension to my ever-evolving musical interests.
