I am an adventurer and seek out new experiences, celebrating firsts whenever possible. I love connecting deeply with people, forming beautiful friendships wherever I go. I think having friends across the world super special, and I love reunions!

I graduated from grad school last June and am taking the year off to travel and explore the world. I am teaching, volunteering, and learning throughout my journey. I am also working on publishing my dissertation and developing the curriculum for my new business, devoted to offering truly comprehensive and progressive sex education for teenagers. I'm traveling the world for a year and I love to meet locals wherever I go. Without a doubt, it is the best way to get to know the culture and it is much more fun to do non-touristy things!

兴趣

I really enjoy being in nature. I'm a big fan of acroyoga, yoga, volleyball, camping, and hiking. And I've just started doing capoeira, which is awesome! I can be pretty competitive and have been known to geek out playing many different kinds of card and board games. I love dancing, going to concerts, and music festivals. I've been to Burning Man 7 times and will definitely be going again this year!

I love to read! My favorite genres are fantasy and scifi but I also read a lot of nonfiction.

I don't like scary movies, really sad ones, or corny rom-coms. I'm open to pretty much anything else.

I did something called the Gibbon Experience in Laos where we trekked into the jungle and stayed in two story tall massive treehouses in the middle of the forest that were only accessible via zipline. We got to zipline and trek throughout the forest for several days. Truly an unforgettable experience!
