ABOUT ME

i'm an extremely active person. sometimes it makes me feel a little crazy if i don't have something to occupy my time. so, i do a lot. my current biggest volunteering commitment is being on several boards of directors: Kalamazoo People's Food Co-op, Fair Food Matters, the Peace Center, & ERAC/CE.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i don't travel very much these days outside the state, but i love hosting folks that are stopping through town!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i spent a week and a half in mexico last year with 4 friends and we found places to stay entirely through couch surfing. we had a wonderful time and met some interesting folks.

Interessi

i have a huge range of hobbies, here's a few: traveling, rock climbing, knitting, bicycle riding, baking, long boarding, carving, gardening, laughing a whole lot, playing tag, soccer, eating large amounts of local food, laughing some more.

books: the sandman series, dune, phillip pullman's 'his dark materials series'... so, now you know i'm a big dork.

the shore of lake superior in the winter. ice mounds - gorgeous. also... autumn leaves in michigan. love them so much.
