COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

my CS experiences have just begun but have been extremely varied. The first was a small yet wonderful gathering of CS locals. That boosted my interest and trust in the CS project overall for my trip to Turkey. And then Turkey! Wow! I both couchsurfed and met up with several generous and fun Istanbul natives (Ufkum, Faruk, and Iskender). I was treated for the most part with a high level of respect and interest.

Anything related to the outdoors, wildlife, and nature. I also have recently become obsessed with all things Brazilian. I love music, too. I play the flute (decent) and sing (eh, so-so), and enjoy listening to and going to concerts of various groups. Sometimes I might even try to dance to my favorites
(esp. samba salsa)
after I've had a tequila shot or two.

Music is a huge passion of mine--I love most genres except twangy country music. My faves are alternative rock, latin (esp. chorinho), and classic rock.

I like funny and edgy TV shows like Futurama, Oz, Six Feet Under, the Simpsons, and Scrubs.

My interest in books mostly relates to anything outdoors or natural. One of my faves is Ishmael.

But really, I have so much to learn from others from every corner of the world. My limited traveling experience has really confirmed this.

I hope to share wonderful experiences and good times with those I meet in my adventures.
