I live on the north shore of O'ahu, where I work as first mate, naturalist and lifeguard on a couple of different boats. Surfing, the ocean and traveling are my main passions in life and I am currently working towards my captains license in order to sail (and surf) around the world and make documentaries/write about those adventures.

I love the concept of community building and hosting exchange as it not only makes travelling much more affordable, but also helps connect people and helps you see the places you visit from a local standpoint (which is the best, in my opinion). I'm a very neat and tidy house guest and don't mind helping out (or providing speared fish for dinner aha!) I would love to meet people to explore nature with, surf and adventure.

I think life is a never ending journey of learning new things, and I would love to learn more from more experienced people about the ocean, conservation, diving, surfing and nature. I love hands on work and love learning how to fix, build or provide with my own two hands. I also bring my own experience and knowledge of the outdoors, surfing, lifeguarding, travel, languages, writing, marketing/PR/Social Media, conservation, ocean/forest/mountain related subject matter to the table :) always willing to learn more and share or teach if asked!
