Hi! My name is Alina, I’m 19, I am from Russia.

I’m a work and travel participant, I was working in Marco Island, Florida this summer and after September 12th I’m going to enjoy my time traveling around the USA.

I enjoy meeting new people and learning something new from them. I feel like I get a piece of someone’s personality and carry it with me for my whole life.
I am currently studying in the university to become an English and Chinese teacher.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that I can get a motivation and inspiration from meeting with people. So I would love to share my experiences and learn about others.
Also I think you can’t truly know new country without talking to locals. I would love to learn about countries from different points of view.

I crocheted a bunny as a New year’s present for my friend because she had been dreaming about getting one for many years 🐰

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to play a Russian card game “Durak” (Fool) and I can play the guitar. I really want to learn more about history and culture of different countries.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook Tatar traditional food, make delicious shawarma with tofu, also can bring and play cards and “Uno” ♣️ And I would love to share some travel stories, for example, how I biked through Miami and Miami Beach, or how I crossed 6 countries and had 7 layovers just to get to the USA. Or how I brought only one bag for 3 months of living in the USA
