Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Oh man. I regret that I haven't done it earlier.

I’m on Couchsurfing because I love to travel myself and know how hard it can be to find a place that fits both the vibe and the budget. My first experience being hosted turned out to be one of the best I could ever have. What I really like is that you don’t just see the city life, but also get a glimpse of someone’s personal life within the city. It always leaves warmer memories, some food for thought, and sometimes even new friends or soulmates :)

I also often host friends of friends from Ukraine, and through that I’ve realized how much I value openness in people. For me, Couchsurfing feels like the pro-level version of that openness — both for me and for the people I host.
