About Me

Hello, dear future guests and hosts!

Back in 2015 I've created my account to start travelling, exploring the world and meeting new people in an informal and friendly environment. The following years were an amazing time full of free time, new acquiantances, spontaneous decisions, adventurous travels, informal learning and freedom. I did the first hitchhiking trip through Baltic states, crossed Spain with the bicycle, visited 10+ student festivals and completed a wonderful one year volunteering service, working with kids. All of these events have shaped my ideology of a no-border space, solidarity, supportiveness and feeling of community. These are some of the values, which are important for me, and which I would like to share with my future guests/hosts/friends.

I am an active promoter of gender equality, so I am not tolerating any intolerance or hatred toward women, and I am always eager to explain why sexist jokes are not funny, and why patriarchy is not a good choice for men too.
I am trying to be a conscious consumer, that is why I try to travel mostly by trains, avoid fast-fashion purchases and equipp my home with energy-effiicent devices. I am interested in the topics of eco-feminism, slow travel/slow food and zero waste consumption.
I prefer not to identify myself with any national affiliation, because the very idea of nation states does not appeal to me at all. I am advocating for the no-borders space, freedom of movement and protection of human rights.
I am doing my second MA now in British Studies with the focus on social, political and feministic studies. I would be particularly interested to meet people, who are familiar with these topics and who would like to share discussions on those topics.

Now, as I am full-time studying and part-time working in Berlin, I am not much into travelling, but I am super much into hosting)). I am getting a lot of requests, many of which are extremely impersonal and blank. That is why I highly advise my future guests to read through my profile and state at least one reason, why they would like to stay at me.
