Overview
About Me
I would describe myself as an enthusiastic person, always keen on learning and experiencing new things :)
Right now I live and work in Bonn and am happily using my scarce vacation days for traveling and chill techno festivals 😁
A few years back I first started using Couchsurfing and made so many great experiences! It is amazing to really get to know a city and its culture by meeting up with couchsurfers or sleeping at a host's place.
It's been a while since I last used couchsurfing, but would love to meet new people now that I'm traveling to Venice ✨
PHILOSOPHY
Stay curious!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm using Couchsurfing because I really want to get to know a country/ city while traveling and not just be "a tourist". By meeting up with couchsurfers or by sleeping at a host's place it's possible to experience all of the country's culture, food and spirit!
I've hosted a few times in my hometown so far and it was amazing to share travel stories and get to know people from all over the world. I feel as if I was traveling when I'm hosting people from all the different countries, and think it's an amazing way of getting to know different cultures, languages and views on the world inside your own home.
Interests
In my free time I love to go bouldering, do some yoga, take some photos with my old film cameras (analog photography), forage for edible and medicinal plants/ herbs and mushrooms, do some hula-hooping...always picking up new hobbies 😁

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: probably anything as long as it sounds good and makes me feel something, but mostly (deep melodic) techno music, downtempo techno, drum and bass. I also got into some classical music since starting to learn the piano 🎶
Movies: Definitely want to watch more of the old movies and must-have-seen-ones! Do you have a recommendation? What is your favourite movie of all time?
The last one I really enjoyed (cinematography wise and emotionally): Call me by your name and Poor Things.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bioluminescent Dinoflagellates (*bless you*) in France! Meaning shining plancton at the beach and in the breaking waves 🌊
Hiking all the way up and seeing the sunrise from the highest point of Spain (Teide, 3718m)!
Taking a spontaneous sailing boat trip from Tenerife to Portugal, on which I decided the night before and seeing dolphins in the wild.
Teach, Learn, Share
LEARN:
I'm always keen on learning new things and skills, so whatever you are willing to share and teach, I'm up for it and most probably interesting in learning all about it :)
TEACH:
I'd be happy to share anything about random stuff I know with you, if you're interested.
Random topics:
- how to make a macramé bracelet
- how to hula-hoop
- some basic acro yoga poses
- how to forage for edible plants/ mushrooms 🌿
- how to do film photography
SHARE:
A laugh, some good stories, food and all the above mentioned. :)
