ABOUT ME

I'm 20 years old, finished school in 2012 & right now I'm in the United States for one year as an Au Pair. I love it because it is also a cultural exchange: Very often I go on weekend trips to see more places & meet more people! When I return to Germany I'll study psychology cause I'm sooo interested in it (could talk about it for hours!) & I'd love to learn more about human mind & behavior:) I always try to be nice to people help wherever I can & think positively. I genuinely believe that everything in life happens for a reason and there fore I'm kinda always happy with what happens and make the best out of every situation. I try to appreciate all the lovely experiences & friends I got to make so far, try to enjoy as much as I can, not stress myself toooo much & I'm living life looking forward to the fun stuff that's waiting for me in the future. It is very important for me to stay healthy as well, this is why I love healthy food, being outside & exercising (mostly jogging). My dream is to speak many languages cause I love communicating and being able to express myself in a whole bunch of different languages and in the end understanding what everybody says:) After Italian, I'm planning on learning somewhat of Dutch, Portuguese, (Russian & Arabian?!) hehe
What else.. I'm open-minded, interested in new stuff, friendly, willing to see the world, meet new people & have fun!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A very close friend of mine recommended it to me.. she told me it is the perfect opportunity to make lots of new friends all over the world, to see many interesting places and to discover how people REALLY live there ..and that's what I want, so I'm here now!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've only surfed on one couch in Philadelphia with a wonderful host and 4 other awesome surfers and it was SO FUN! I love this project and the whole idea of getting to know people from all over the world and helping, trusting & learning from each other!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My time in Argentina actually opened my eyes and I realized how precious our time here on earth is, that everything is transient & that we should start enjoying every single second of our lives. Even when you're sad, appreciate that you're able to have feelings, just enjoy the sound the smell and the colors of the nature, take your time to do nothing and be grateful about the family and friends you have.

This isn't really one thing that I've done.. but that has kinda happened to me and I think it's pretty amazing though :)
