I'm a Russian journalist living in Prague. I am getting my second masters degree in gender studies . I write about literature and do freelances in social media. I travel quite often; my biggest dream is to visit Iceland. My favorite places are North Germany, Morocco and Georgia.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I started using CS in 2012 when I hitchhiked in Europe. I was hosted in Lisbon, Ibiza, Rome, and then I found that staying with locals is more exciting, interesting and safe than staying alone in a hostel.

Another great experience with CS was in Morocco in 2014. I spent 2 months treveling with couchsurfers from the USA and Germany. We were hosted in Atlas Mountains, in Sahara, medina of Marrakech, Rabat, Tangier, Essaouira and Agadir.

For long years, I was traveling alone, so CouchSurfing was the best and easiest way to find new people in every new place. I'm very happy that these people were in my life and that CouchSurfing gifted me many unforgettable, funny and crazy stories which I like to remember and share with my friends.

What I really love to do:
- to read books and to write about them.
- to eat and, of course, to try national food;
- to stay in nature (mountains, national parks, wild beaches!!!);
- to hike and backpack;
- to listen to people and to look how they behave;
- to plan my next trips;

My favourite movies are "Lovesongs", "Goobye, Lenin!", "Life is Beautiful", "Lives of others", "The Pianist", "Diarios de motocicleta", "Les amours imaginaires", "Lalaland", "Mr. and Mrs. Adelman". Few years ago I was a big fan of TV show "How I Met Your Mother".

My favourite writer is Thomas Mann. I also love the style of John Fowles, Boris Pasternak, Evgeny Vodolazkin, Ludmila Ulitskaya, Guzel Yakhina, Hanya Yanagihara.

I think I'm a very easy guest. If you are busy I can stay by myself and if you are in a right mood I'm up to every idea and activity (with the exception of sleeping with you :-D). Usually I try to bring some gift or to invite my host to a meal or a drink. I don't like to cook in a new places because I'm afraid to do it wrong, but I can help you with cooking.
