I usually use couchsurfing while traveling because it's not only free bed, but also (what I like more) real exploring the country because of living with locals. So u can really see how they live. And I think it's the most important thing for couchsurfing. As no one guide, even the best one cannot show u real non-tourist places or tell u about traditions, history or fun stories that only locals can know. That's why I love couchsurfing.
