ABOUT ME

We are a happily married couple. She was an Au Pair in the USA and we met there. She came back to Brazil in 2011 and we got married there in 2012.

Todd has couchsurfed and hosted in the past when he was living in Atlanta, but Aline hasn't done it yet. Since we will be traveling together in the future we decided to make a new profile that has both of us on one, to make it easier on potential hosts and surfers.

We are easy going people that love to have fun and make new friends. We want to visit many many places around the world, and we would be glad to receive guests at our house. We don't smoke and would appreciate it if you smoke that you do it outside when staying with us. We are clean people and are respectful of other people's space and hospitality, so we expect surfers to do the same with us. We don't do drugs, and we love animals. Oh and we have a small dog named Frank, so if you don't like dogs our couch may not be for you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Two of the best things in life are meeting new people, and experiencing new things (or at the very least experiencing old things in a new way). We are here to travel and meet new people, while helping others do the same.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Todd has had some experience hosting and surfing in the States, now that we live in Brazil we have decided to close down Todd's account and create a new one together, so we will update this as time goes on.

Interests

This is a hard one to answer. We have too many interests to name here, but a few of them (in no particular order) are: movies, books, every kind of music, photography, dancing, sightseeing, nature, hiking, hanging out with friends, meeting new people and learning about new cultures, writing, learning foreign languages. Basically, everything is welcome as long as you are with the right people. Company.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We've each done a ton of amazing things in just the few short years we've been together and even more before that, so there really isn't room for that here. This is stuff we will save for in person story time.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well we both love to teach. We are both experts in English, skilled photographers, and good cooks. Aline is a beauty consultant and loves anything related to fashion or makeup and has plenty of knowledge to share about any of that kind of stuff. Todd is a writer, English teacher, and is obsessed with exercise and sports, and is a good cook. We both have a lot to share and a lot we want to learn.

We love to learn anything really. Knowledge is how people grow and become better people - be it from their own experiences or through the experiences.

We both love to hear and tell good stories, and we have plenty of them to share. And of course we have a couch available for those looking for a place to crash for a night or two.
