Hello, my name is Aline, I am German and 32 years old. My husband Simon is Australian and 38 years old. We have been very happily married for 9 years : )

We live in Australia at the beautiful Lake Macquarie near Newcastle, NSW.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When we are going overseas we really like to see how people are living, to experience it. We have done couchsurfing in Paris before and it was my best time I've had in Paris from the three times I visited the city! There is just something magical meeting new people and hearing their story, rather than staying at some hotel and doing the tourist thing : )

Interests

I just love to travel and could nearly do it full time :D hiking and being in nature is one of my favorite things to do. I love my friends and making new friends. I love to be creative, to paint, draw, felt, knit, weaving, crochet, woodwork, you name it ;) Animals are just so interesting but I especially like cats. I am interested in a healthy lifestyle, including regular exercise.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To marry my wonderful husband Simon and deciding to live with him in Australia! We lived in a camper van for 4 years, travelling up and down the East Coast of Australia, working and exploring ; )
