About Me

Hey guys!

I'm a 22 year old student of business and administration, studying in the beautiful town of Münster, Germany.

I love to get outside and be in company; no matter if meeting with friends & family and enjoying a beer, nice food, good weather and us by day, partying later on or doing some sports.

speaking of sports, I love to play football, go running and I regularly hit the gym.

At home I'm definitely a family guy, as I like to spend much time with mom & dad.
Definitely into films and passionately watching Oscars every year (:D).
I'm always up for some fifa, too (:D).

As a guest I'm relatively straightforward. I manage to handle my own affairs and from experience, I mix well with people.

My motto is to always stay active in life. It doesn't matter whether it is your job, hobby or whatever, but we should simply find out what is important to US and DO it every day, day by day; Defining targets and pursuing them - that's happiness to me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling and getting to know new people belong to the interest of me that I discover more and more in recent times. I consider Couchsurfing as an opportunity to combine these two interests. But more than that, staying with locals is a chance to even leverage your stay in an unknown town or country: Local people often know e.g. great spots to be that tourists probably wouldn't discover in a relative short period of time. They posses great knowledge about the town in which they might have been even growing up and thus shape your stay in a more profound way than usual.

The fact that Couchsurfing is without charges makes it even more personal. This social aspect is currently very important to me, since I am traveling France to speak as much French as I can. It is a language I am passionate about and the better I speak it the more access I will have to the magnificent culture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This might be more funny or dumb than amazing :D
So:
I came to France in order to spend a semester abroad within an erasmus program. It has been the 3rd day, I remember well, that I was in town and taking the tram. Suddenly 10000 controllers, I had the feeling (:D), came into the tram to check the tickets. I was kind of shocked, since the controlling process in Germany doesn't involve that many people. So I eventually showed them my ticket and stepped out. After walking apprx. 100 meters I realized that I left my laptop and a bunch of important documents in a suitcase in the tram. I ran back to the tram station, where the officers still have been standing. I asked them what to do: They looked at each other, pointed at the tram, that was in the meanwhile at the next station and said 2 words: vas y! (which in this context kind of means "go after it!"); and that's what I did. I mean I was in a foreign country and supposed to study which implicates not loosing his laptop and important documents the third day of arrival! Of course I didn't catch up with the tram at the next station, since it already was at the next station. But after running the hell out of me, I fortunately caught it at the station after. I even had to run up a bridge to get the tram which was the moment where I was on the point of giving up. But somehow I managed.

From this apparently very weird, unusual and redundant experience I learned, that we are able to do a lot of stuff, that we think we're not capable of doing them at first sight. I think many things are possible, we only have to overcome our mental barriers.
(Of course I also learned to keep a better eye on my stuff! :D)

Teach, Learn, Share

Originally Persian with both of my parents being from Iran and growing up in Germany shaped my personality profoundly. I know, appreciate and love both cultures and thanks to my multicultural mindset I am always up for discovering new cultures. I could teach you some words in persian or german and bring close to you the cultural backgrounds. I would love to learn about your culture, your language and the town and/or country you live in!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am definitely down to help in the household. I would gladly join to do the grocery shopping e.g. in order to prepare together a nice lunch or dinner - and if afterwards nobody can move no more, I am also willing to do the dishes :)
