Overview
About Me
Hi! I’m Alisa (pronounced like ‘Lisa’ with an ‘A’ in front; uh-lee-sa).
I love nature and the outdoors but currently riding the hustle and bustle wave that is NYC! Therefore getting outside typically consists of walks (or picnics) in the park, rollerblading through traffic, or bouldering on the roof of my gym!
I work in public health and humanitarian emergency response and I love what I do!
I practice yoga and meditation as often as possible! I’m a certified yoga instructor (though not currently teaching).
I’m an alcohol enthusiast and vegetarian foodie (deathly allergic to peanuts lol please don’t kill me). Always down to discover a new place with good vibes to grab a drink.
I have a very go-with-the-flow attitude & optimistic outlook; I will rarely say no to a spontaneous adventure.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To prove to my mom that talking to strangers is actually pretty cool 🙃 JK just trying to enjoy the world we live in and LIFE while it lasts, all while meeting amazing people along the way!
I have immense gratitude for those who’ve put their trust in me by welcoming me into their homes— home is wherever you are made to feel like home. Especially during times of uncertainty and chaos, the Couchsurfing community brings nothing but hope and positivity into my life.
Cheers to keeping spirit of CS alive 🥂
