ABOUT ME

I am down to earth. I have two demonic, but adorable bunnies. I am an animal lover. I can be a bit shy, but if we get past the awkward phase of introductions and we get along I am very talkative! I feel most interested when the other person is enthusiastic about meeting and getting to know each other! It takes two to tango.

PHILOSOPHY

What is the meaning of life?... To live.
My personal philosophy is to live your life so that it is fulfilling and do what makes you happy, but lately I have been wondering if I have been a hypocrite and haven't been doing my best...
My other philosophy is to stand my ground and don't accept bull shit anymore.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just started couch surfing, but intend to open up my couch when I return home and have a a couch for people to use. For now I just suggest a few traveling tips for people who have gone to destinations I have been to. I am thinking about writing a blog that is a manual for study abroad. Rather than sugar coat the study abroad experience and talk about both side, not just the good but also the bad.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had a great first experience in Slovenia. I met a fellow couchsurfer on AirBNB for my last day in Rome and it did not help my trust towards men. I am just looking for women hosts and surfers, but will make some exceptions for men. I've had a few weird experiences with men during my study abroad experience and with trabeling so for my own safety and sanity I don't want to deal with men for a looooooooong time. It really is not a dating website and I am seriously not looking for anyone to hug or in any shape or form touch me or be within a foot of me especially upon just meeting you.

Interests

Eating food. Yup. Not a partier I am afraid to say. A bit of an old soul who enjoys conversation and nice walks...

I am interested in topics about inequality and social issues. I joined my fashion club at school and am interested in design and sewing. I am not very good at it, but intend to get better. I also like art but need to open up more time for it.

Thinking about it, i don't seem to have many interests... I really need to start living my life more and enjoy everything it has to offer. I think I take my life for granted a lot of the times and am trying to change that. Who knew a little box that is labeled as interests can end up revealing so much about yourself...

Music, Movies, and Books

I use to read a lot, but I became addicted to graphic novels for a while, trying to get back into the rhythm.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen my bunnies growl. (Joke, but really...)

I paraglided in Soca Valley! Saw the valley from the mountainside, within the river with rafting, and above it through paragliding.

I have seen many amazing things, but I don't think I had the appreciation for them back then like I would now.

Teach, Learn, Share

I study sociology, if you want to discuss something about society such as gender, race, class, environment, etc. I can share my thoughts.

I am Vietnamese and can cook some Vietnamese dishes if I have the right ingredients.
