ABOUT ME

I grew up in a small Southern Illinois college town rich on nature and poor on cultural outlets. Grinnell, IA was my next stop for a college experience dedicated to human development, and I spent the past two years in service corps in Chicago. I moved to the Bay Area over year ago in search of new adventures with my honey Dan and our pup Lolette. I'm also on this quest to figure out what the heck my passions are. I suspect I'm tripping over the answer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far! I'm hoping to open a couch up soon (must chat with the roommate) and reach out to other Couchsurfers for Dan and my Ireland June 2013 trip.

Cooking. Books (especially young adult, science fiction, fantasy, magical realism, memoir). Dancing (club, swing, salsa). Hiking, biking, camping. Design. Discussing meanings in life (and other uber-philosophical topics). Learning where others find meaning, hope, adventure, and passion in life.

I'm rather obsessed with Arts & Crafts architecture and interiors and tiny houses. I aim to be woodworker one day.
