HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love embracing the idea behind traveling slow, spending as much time with locals. Meeting new people is second nature to me and I want to learn as much as I can about other cultures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent 6 weeks traveling across Europe and was fortunate enough to meet locals in most places through CS. I truly enjoyed being able to see cities through the eyes of a local, gaining history not found in the tourist books and learning about their own life experiences.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

After high school I spent a month at a summer camp for children in Russia. I went as a photojournalist documenting their activities, and my own personal experiences with the other volunteers. On the weekends we would take a train into St. Petersburg to explore the city which was beautiful. It always seemed to be raining when we would go but I didn't mind; I love the rain. It's still one of my fondest memories.
