Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Ethan and I are excited to expand our community overseas. We feel as though by couch surfing we will be more immersed and involved in what’s happening around the towns we visit. We are very open to new experiences and want to broaden our travels through meeting locals and experiencing something more authentic. We love the idea of having connections around the world and also being able to show someone around where we live when we are back in Australia. It would be amazing to stay with a host and then host them back at home.

We arnt as much into movies however Ethan loves all Quintin Tarantino movies.

We both love reading and are equipped with kindles for our travels. Alison reads almost entirely self help books, such as Ayurveda books, books on anti-inflammatory lifestyles and diet, building good habits books, all things wellness and health. Ethan reads a bit of everything, he recently enjoyed reading the alchemist.

Teach, Learn, Share

Alison has studied outdoor leadership at university so has great skills in being outdoors, whether it’s hiking, surfing, camping, climbing ect. I am happy to teach and give advise on gear and skills needed to hike and be in nature.

Ethan is an electrician in Australia which makes him a great handyman with an eye for fixing things and solving problems.

We are both learning Spanish, we completed a week of classes in Guatemala.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We both love to cook and are happy to cook dinner or breakfast to share, 10 years of babysitting experience in Australia means we can help with entertaining your kids or taking them out to burn some energy, love pets, can walk your dog or feed your pets to help out.
