ABOUT ME

Hi there! My name is Alison and I am 29 years old. I grew up and have lived in the Pacific Northwest my entire life. I love to have fun and am very active. I have a lot of close friends that I spend a lot of time with, and love meeting new people as well. I am very social and love to surround myself with others. I consider myself to be open minded, kind hearted, and genuine. I love to laugh and enjoy life!

I have a very social job (hairstylist) which I love for so many reasons. The creativity is what initially drew me to the profession, and my love for people and making them feel beautiful has kept me going!

I truly believe I live in one of the most beautiful places in the world. There's nothing out there quite like the PNW. I enjoy getting outdoors and experiencing everything there is to offer here.

I am by no means an experienced traveler, but I am hoping to change that! I went backpacking through Ireland, England, Scotland, France, Belgium, Iceland and the Netherlands. I've driven all throughout the western United States. From San Antonio, Texas to Seattle. I cut across through New Mexico and Arizona and then up the California coast. Last year I travelled through Peru and Bolivia. I hiked the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu...words can't express how incredible that journey was. I most recently travelled to Indonesia. More specifically Bali, the Gilis, and Lombok. I loved it there SO much I'm planning on going back in September. I'd love to see new places and revisit some of my favorites!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am very new to this..but excited to see where this goes... I have been able to host multiple people, couchsurf on my own, and meet up with travelers. All have been amazing experiences.

Interests

I am very interested in all forms of pop culture. Music, movies, TV etc. I love any kind of game whether it be a sport, lawn or just a board game. Bowling. Billiards, I go out with friends often for a drink(or three) and maybe even some karaoke ;) I love to get outside and hike/explore and love coffee too much. Im easy going and am always up for something fun!

I will listen to just about anything. My Fav is more of the folk/rock/alternative genre. But also love rap, pop, and even country. The Avett Brothers. Deertick. Arctic Monkeys. Jake Bugg. Jack White. Josh Abbott Band. Santigold. Elle King. Metric. And more!!
