Overview
About Me
I lived most of my life in northern California, but have recently moved to Bern, Switzerland to pursue a master's degree in data science. I've been a vegan most of my life and have been involved in animal rights activism for the past several years. I previously worked in the mental health field after receiving my BA in sociology at UC Davis. I used to teach poetry workshops to k-12th grade students and have had a variety of teaching assistant roles and student support positions.
I enjoy hiking/being in nature, photography, cooking and sharing meals, making new friends, going to live music events, and working on social advocacy causes.
I'm a very open person and enjoy having long conversations about a wide range of topics such as philosophy, culture, social movements/causes, and scientific progress. If you have any questions about me, feel free to message and ask!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I became more active on Couchsurfing when I began solo traveling in May of 2024 and wanted a way to connect with people as I traveled.
