Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel through southern europe and throw myself into new, amazing, and strange situations
ABOUT ME
I have now graduated from college with a degree in comic book art of all things.
Since graduating I have applied my degree somewhat creatively and started my own freelance web design and programing business which is great because I can work from home and travel when I want to.
My other interests incluce reading and storytelling. I spend a lot of my free time reading anything I can get my hands on. Although I don't promise to finish it. I always have a late fee at the library.
I also love storytelling and would love nothing better than to travel the world hearing people tell their stories.
When I am home for longer periods of time I foster abandoned and abused dogs for rescue organizations. I have thus far fostered (not at the same time) 1 American Pitbull, a miniature poodle, a Papillon, a Chinese Crested, 2 Brussels Griffons, 3 mixed breeds of unsure origin, and a calico cat. They have all now been adopted and I'm looking forward to fostering again as soon as I can.
PHILOSOPHY
There is always something more to learn.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Though I have only recently joined Couch Surfing I have endeavored to participate in as many CS parties, meetings, and gatherings as possible. I am loving the community and am really looking forward to meeting other CSers around the world as well as hosting whenever I get the chance.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't had many yet but it was truly amazing to me how open everyone is here. I posted a note to the Minneapolis forum looking for someone to talk with about their experiences traveling Europe. I wasn't expecting much of a response but before I knew it there were tons of responses on the forum and I was planning a small gathering at a local cafe.
This kind of open, giving attitude is what makes Couch Surfing great.
