About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To become a freelance reporter - either online, newspapers, radio, or film.
ABOUT ME
I'm in my mid-20s, figuring out how to build a life and use my liberal arts college degree to make a living. I'm a free spirit, laid-back, insightful, yearning to learn and a big nerd when it comes to politics and current events.
PHILOSOPHY
What's the point of life if not building strong connections to other people and connecting yourself to do what you love?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've stayed with people throughout Zimbabwe that a friend I was traveling with knew through various work projects. In my study abroad experience in college I stayed for one month with families in each country of South Africa, Vietnam, and Brazil. I've stayed with family in Ireland - Dublin and Killawallah, a town in County Mayo on the west coast. I've hosted friends and acquaintances in Chicago before. (I would host now if I had my own place).
Interests
Biking, kayaking, camping, journalism, politics, people, writing, human connection.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The full moon rainbow at Victoria Falls. On a full moon a luminescent rainbow forms in the falls. You can follow the rainbow along the falls and see it disappear into them. You can't see it at Niagra Falls because of light pollution.
Teach, Learn, Share
While I don't possess very many hard skills, I do have quite a bit of stories to share and I love listening and learning from other people.
