I guess the best place to start is the basics. I'm a 23 year old Hispanic American from a family of 6. I've lived with my sister and brothers in California for most of my life with several moves here and there (Oregon and Washington). I have a wonderful tuxedo cat child named Lilith (Lillypad) who i have raised for almost 3 years now. When I'm not working as an Underwriting Tech for an insurance company, I go swing dancing every at least once a week and I perform in shows as an actor, which is probably the second most important aspect in my life aside from Lilith. When I'm not doing theatre I create numerous arts and crafts, waste my life away in cinema, look for music i haven't fallen in love with yet, and listen to true crime/paranormal podcasts (my guilty pleasure).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to break out of my comfort zone and experience the beauty of life for the first time. I finally have the confidence to take on the world while admiring everything it has to offer. Along with the travel aspect, I genuinely want to experience not just the wonderful attractions, but find out the culture from locals. I love making connections with others and what better way of finding out about the magic of a foreign land than by those who live it 24/7?

What I Can Share with Hosts

An easy going mind that's open to new experiences/discussions. I understand that I don't know everything and sometimes I'm going to be wrong, and that's okay, that's what learning it all about. Everyone is different and has reasons for living by their own ways, if we didn't we wouldn't be humans. One of my favorite things to do in my down time is look up random facts/history to share with other, and with that I encourage others to share with me as well.

A sense of adventure! While I do enjoy my peace and quiet time, I'm always up to an excursion or burst of last minute shenanigans. Life it too short to make up reasons to not do something; if I can bring out someone's inner happy spirit with the unexpected, I can't ask for anything better.

Friendship! I love meeting and connecting with all people of different backgrounds and interests. I don't wan to just stay at someone's house and never talk to them- I'm visiting a new acquaintance/guide that hopefully blossoms into a wonderful friendship :)

And if all else fails, i can cook a pretty mean meal :)
