I am a 25 year old guy born Hamburg with half German and half Scottish roots.
I love to travel and see as much in my life as I possibly can. I consider myself open-minded and easy to handle with.
After finishing school in Germany I travelled through India for a year and after that I lived in London for 4 years, in order to do my undergraduate degree.
I moved to Düsseldorf for my postgraduate degree and am now working in the area of Human Resources at the Deutsche Postcode Lotterie.

I am a passionate singer and am happy to sing you a song or two as a little greeting :) If you tell me your favourite song in advance, I can prepare before my arrival and perform my own version of it. (Obviously only if you want)

I am always happy to meet new people and love to connect with different nationalities from different backgrounds and cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is the perfect way to meet new people and have a great time in a city the person is from. I mean what better is there, than staying with a person that actually lives in the city I am visiting. If you like to show me the city you live in I am always greatful, but that is up to you.

Music, Movies, and Books

In every profile I find this section quite hard to answer. I listen to a variety of different songs throughout different genres. Furthermore I love to watch movies, but not one in particular. With books it is pretty much the same, although I dont consider myself a very frequent reader.

To be absolutely honest, the choice of musik, books and movies is very dependent on my mood and varies quite a lot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One year India and four years in London have given me quite a lot of amazing experiences. Doesnt matter if you find yourself in a Riksha waiting in a traffic jam because everyone in front of you is trying to drive around a cow that lies in the middle of the street, or you find yourself touching the precious walls of the Taj Mahal. - All of my experiences good as well as bad have shaped me to become the person I am today. I never regret anything and dont intend to start now :)
