About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To collect poeople!

ABOUT ME

I'm currently traveling the world in search of old friends and new. My life without awesome people in it is severely lacking, and since 'my people' are spread across the globe, I'm wandering it to be with them. For me, sight-seeing is secondary - travel is about people; new people, good people, fun people, interesting people. Good times with good friends.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short to worry, to not do the things you've always wanted to. Too short to not be happy. So go do the things that make you happy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I'm a couch surfer only, with knowledge to share, great conversation to be had, an open mind, and a genuine interest in learning about different cultures and societies. Especially the quirky bits.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've not stayed with anyone from the CouchSurfing network, but spend most of my time crashing with friends across Europe.
I have experienced many kinds of mattresses, beds, couches, floors (too many floors!!). Floors are not to be recommended! Funny how the most interesting situations (usually the ones where the least amount of sleep was had) are the ones that stand out as the most memorable, and usually most fun!

Interests

I enjoy long breakfasts in cafes followed by sunny days in green grassy parks!
I like stories, and telling them through all kinds of mediums.
Nothing quite beats being on the water - in a kayak, sailing boat, or (actual) surfing - which I can not wait to practice much much more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Doing completely mental things is such a great way to realise what you're capable. Bungy jumping the Nevis Highwire near Queenstown, New Zealand is probably the scariest thing I've ever done. And the most empowering.
