Trabajé como fisioterapeuta durante dos años antes de partir para este gran viaje. Empecé navegando de Francia a Cabo Verde y luego crucé el Atlántico hasta Brasil.
Ahora continúo mi viaje en autobús por todo el continente.

Hello everyone!
My name is Alix and I'm a 26-year-old French woman currently traveling in South America for over a year.
I worked as a physiotherapist for two years before leaving for this big trip. I started by sailing from France to Cape Verde, then crossed the Atlantic to Brazil.
I'm now continuing my journey by bus across the continent.

Uno de los objetivos de mi viaje es conocer gente, porque me encanta y me permite aprender más sobre diferentes culturas y mejorar mi español.

Cuando vuelva a Francia, me encantaría recibir también a viajeros !

One of the aims of my trip is to meet new people, because I love that and it allows me to learn more about different cultures and improve my Spanish.

When I get back to France, I'd love to welcome travelers too !

En cuanto a la música, me encanta descubrir nuevos artistas, ir a conciertos, festivales y solía tocar un poco la guitarra (necesito volver a ello). Escucho muchos estilos diferentes, no soy muy exigente, pero quizá me guste más el pop, el rock o el RnB.
También me gusta ir al cine regularmente y ver todo tipo de series.

Desde hace unos años estoy cada vez más implicado en la causa ecológica, me informo mucho e intento actuar lo mejor posible para tener el menor impacto posible. Por ejemplo, procuro utilizar los medios de transporte menos contaminantes y me he hecho vegetariana.

As far as music is concerned, I love discovering new artists, going to concerts, festivals and I used to play the guitar a bit (I need to get back to it). I listen to a lot of different styles, I'm not very picky but maybe more anything pop, rock or RnB.
I also like to go to the movies regularly and watch all kinds of series.

I am more and more involved in the ecological cause since a few years, I inform myself a lot and I try to act as well as possible to have the least impact possible. For example, I take care to use the least polluting means of transportation and I have become a vegetarian.

Algunos de mis artistas o grupos favoritos son Patti Smith, Kate Bush, Joni Mitchell, Florence and The Machine, The Cranberries, Jeff Buckley, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Renaud, Madonna, Dido, Sade, Tracy Chapman, Muse, Celine Dion... Y eso ya es mucho pero es difícil elegir.

Para las películas mencionaría The Shawshank Redemption, Big Fish, Fight Club, Requiem for a Dream, Kill Bill, Parasite, Les Choristes...
Por último, entre las series que me encantan están The Office, Friends, Brooklyn 99, The Marvelous Mrs Maisel, Charmed, Anatomía de Grey o The Get Down.

Me encanta dedicar tiempo a cocinar y, a veces, dar a conocer a la gente platos franceses, ¡como los crêpes!
También me encanta pasear, ver los monumentos, por supuesto, y jugar a juegos de mesa.

I love to take the time to cook and sometimes to introduce French dishes such as crêpes!
I also love going for walks, seeing the sights of course, and playing board games.
