ABOUT ME

My name is Alix Au. I am vegan, but I do not care if others choose to eat meat. As long as our opinions don't battle each other, then I am sure we can get along.
I love animals, especially reptiles. My boyfriend and I keep a boa constrictor, a small ball python and a kitten. The boa is all mine though :).
I am into all sorts of music, some electronic, ambient, grindcore, crust punk, but mostly sludgy, stoner-doom metal.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first couch surfing experience in April, 2013. A friend of mine and I attended a music festival in the Netherlands and stayed with a couple from this site. It was great!

My favorite band ever is Electric Wizard, but I also enjoy music by Queens of the Stoneage, Dystopia, Grief, Moss, Carcass, Tragedy, His Hero is Gone, Worship, Witch, Death Grips, Amon Tobin..
Just to name a few and give a feel of the genres I am into.

I'm into graphic novels and comics, as well as some manga. I enjoy books written in a unique play with language, like the author Cormac McCarthy. I'm constantly borrowing books from friends and finding myself enjoying them more than the ones I select from the shelves myself.
I also really books about all kinds of art.

Hmmm, I could exchange knowledge on health and body care.. I love learning about the body, anatomically, mentally and spiritually. Blood and bones fascinate me and I do my best to study when the time is right. I also do my best to eat healthy as well as vegan and I would love to share this with anyone (without being a pushy asshole!). I'm really into filling my brain up with anything. You learn the most from the experiences of others, not necessarily books
