About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Go explorin' the world.

ABOUT ME

Hi!
Currently, I'm studying abroad in Granada, Spain and I am absolutely loving it here. (You should come visit!)
I'm studying International Health back in good 'ole South Carolina and of of course Spanish!
I'm a friendly person and open minded about learning new things and going on adventures. I can tell you some of the scariest traveling I've done so far has been in Turkey. But hey, sometimes life deals you tough situations and you're left to handle them on your own. Turned out to be one of my favorite trips ever! Bring it on.

If you're interested in knowing more about me, I'm in my 20's and currently live in Granada,Spain. If my friends could describe me, they'd probably say that I'm a pretty high-spirited person. You'd have to catch me on an extremely horrible day to see my frown.

PHILOSOPHY

-Life is a road, now and forever, a wonderful journey.

-Dont' dwell. Forgive, Forget, and Move on.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've run into multiple couch surfers before, and ever since I've always wanted to become a part of the family. There stories and experiences made me want share my own with friends and other travelers! I want to spread the word about this great opportunity to meet people.

Interests

-CHEESE!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Granada, guys. You'll instantly fall in love.

The city is a melting pot of cultures, which is why I wanted to study here in the first place. The Alhambra, which means “the red one” in Arabic, is a symbol of co-existence between Christians and Muslims, and represents a time when all three major Abrahamic religions resided in peace. The beauty of the Moorish palace truly makes it a “paradise on earth.” Granada is undoubtedly proud of its unique cultural roots.

Teach, Learn, Share

My favorite song. "It should remind us, humble us, and empower us"

Bon Iver- Holocene

"Someway, baby, it's part of me, apart from me"
You're laying waste to Halloween
You fucked it friend, it's on it's head, it struck the street
You're in Milwaukee, off your feet

And at once I knew I was not magnificent
Strayed above the highway aisle
(Jagged vacance, thick with ice)
And I could see for miles, miles, miles

3rd and Lake it burnt away, the hallway
Was where we learned to celebrate
Automatic bought the years you'd talk for me
That night you played me 'Lip Parade'
Not the needle, nor the thread, the lost decree
Saying nothing, that's enough for me

And at once I knew I was not magnificent
Hulled far from the highway aisle (Jagged vacance, thick with ice)
And I could see for miles, miles, miles

Christmas night, it clutched the light, the hallow bright
Above my brother, I and tangled spines
We smoked the screen to make it what it was to be
Now to know it in my memory

And at once I knew I was not magnificent
High above the highway aisle (Jagged vacance, thick with ice)
But I could see for miles, miles, miles
