I am Kelani, a 26-year-old young man from North Africa. I work as ESL instructor and one of my many dreams is to visit as many countries around the world as possible! I love poetry and art, and I am crazy about nature. One of my Hobbies is carpentry. I find myself in wood works. I plan to be a guest along with my wife who’s also my best friend in major cities around the world, and if possible, host people in our beautiful country! Can’t wait for that to come true!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’ve always wanted to see the world, and couch surfing offers the best experiences in multiple cities and countries. I also want to learn more about other cultures, and in return, do my part of culture sharing, because where I come from, there’s a lot to show to people. I’ve always read about couchsurfing, and it’s about time I tried it!

I’m a bit of a “all kinds” listener, but I do like country music the most. I love partying and dancing, and my dream is to be in a Tomorrowland concert! Some of my favorite songs are No reins by Rascal flatts, you and me by P!nk, and river run by Ed and Eminem

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Aside from the charity work that I do in my country, I have access to the hearts of hundreds of young people in my country, and I’ve always motivated them to go and see the world, and I’ve also helped a huge number of them to apply for scholarships granted by embassies here in our country. There’s more to life than attaining knowledge for one’s self, so every day, I pass on what I know to everyone around me. I and my wife have carried out educational sessions and workshops to teach those who are underprivileged in our country from refugees and immigrants. That itself is a reward to me.

I want to share all that is great and interesting. There are so many things that people do not know about our country that I’d like to share with the world, and in return, i expect to learn a lot from any host I spend time with. There’s more to life than just staying in one place for your entire life!
