I'm backpacking through Europe for a few months. I was mostly staying in hostels, but I am trying out CS because I am discovering that my favorite part of traveling is to spend a meal, a long walk, an evening, etc. getting to know somebody new.

I have an upbeat, energetic attitude but I do not like "toxic positivity" - when things go badly or something is uncomfortable, I think it is better to laugh about it than to hold it in!

I love the TV show "Poker Face", it's a funny mystery-of-the-week show based on "Columbo", starring Natasha Lyonne. Directed by the same guy who did "Knives Out".

I just finished reading "Bittersweet" by Susan Cain, it's a self-help style book about sadness. It's a bit cheesy / simplistic but it has a powerful message.

I don't know if I know a *lot*, but I can teach the basics of piano, guitar, and a few different American dance styles (blues, contra, west coast swing)
