ABOUT ME

I am a proud father of 3 beautiful children. Brittany 20, Lauren, 18, and Andrew 16. They are beautiful, smart, and most importantly kind people. They care and want to make a difference. They love their DAD and I love them. I live in south city St. Louis with my roomate Jason. He is a great guy and a very good and kind person as well. I lived in New Orleans for a time and it will always be my second home.

I am enjoying excercise and my body like I never have before (insert joke here). I enjoy being looked at for who I am, not how big I am, for the first time. I am learning to be comfortable with trying to make myself truly happy. I have experienced a lot over the past 2 years and am ready to move on, travel and be happy. I love music, outdoors, seeing new places. I love water ( to drink, sail,float,ski, swim or fish). I love dancing. I love singing. I love the warm summer winds. I love going to movies. Think the WEST Wing was the most brilliant show on television. I think Modern Family is the second most brilliant show on television. I want to be inspired. I love helping people. I love music of all kinds, and I mean all kinds. Every genre has something to say or teach. Mozart, Nelly, Enya, Shiny Toy Guns, Boston, Kiss, Yes, George Winston, Amy Grant, Celtic Women, Irish Tenors, Plain White Tees, to a local band like Kingpin, all of them have something to say. I mainly want to have fun, meet people, hear their story and make them friends.

PHILOSOPHY

Being compassionate and fun are the most Masculine personality traits you can have. We have much to learn from the 20 something generation. Hate is far too easy.

I want to get involved and meet people. I am brand new to CS but really want to participate in everything from hosting to just having a cup of coffee to being taken on a tour of a place I have never been by someone who really knows the ins and the outs of their hometown.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I stood on the flood wall of the city of Mandeville, LA as Tropical Storm Isadore was crossing Lake Ponchartrain. We were in waste deep water along with about 100 other crazy people, when a waterspout came ashore unexpectedly and hosed us with high winds and rain....no one was hurt, but it was the scariest, funniest thing I ever experienced. We were all so stupid. I think it was the collective lack of common sense that amused me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to share the experience of music, cooking, local history. I want to learn to speak spanish. I want to learn to make stained glass. I want to become strong enough to rock climb, I want to get my pilots license. I know a little about a lot....I would like to focus on learning a lot about a few more of those things.
