CURRENT MISSION

I truly believe life is about taking advantage of the opportunities life gives you. My husband and I have an incredible opportunity to travel the world and we are going to take advantage of that. We are planning to start our trip around the world 8/1/14

ABOUT ME

My travel bug was fueled by my Mom's stories of her travels growing up and then working as a model around the world. I have been fortunate enough to live and experience a lot of different places and cultures. I met my soul mate way before I ever thought I would and now my life has become our life, and our goals each others. We have realized the opportunity to let go of our wordy possessions and comforts are slowly slipping away with age. We want to use the next year to see and experience the world before we settle down and have children. We have both traveled growing up and his began in Africa where he was born. Together we want to build a history of memories and wonderful experiences in other nations before coming back to the US.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is the most precious gift we have, it is wasteful to not live it to the best of your abilities and enjoy it to its fullest, whatever that may be for you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard about couch surfing many years ago when I was living in France. I have to be honest and say my motivation to finally start this profile and host comes from our plans to soon travel ourselves. I hope we can host for others and then experience couch surfing on the road.

Interests

We wanted to build a theme around our round the world trip and landed on cultural festivals. We want to experience cultures in the smaller cities and hope to really get a feel for how others live and believe.
