ABOUT ME

I'm a travel-obsessed student at a rural new england college. I somehow managed to convince said college that travel is a perfectly legitimate form of education. I am therefore setting out to travel the world on a field study in nonverbal cross-cultural communication.
I grew up in Italy and have been traveling with my parents almost since the day I was born. I love to experience wonder and I see no better way to do that than dedicating myself to travel.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that every human on the planet has certain things in common, and if we focus on these, we can learn to love the differences too. I truly think that most people are good and kind, and those that are not, it's probably because they did not receive it. I try to always be open minded and non-judgemental, because I know that my way of being is not any better or worse than anyone else's.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As of today all I can offer the community is a place to come have a cup of tea and maybe a talk. As soon as I have a couch, I will offer it gladly. I love meeting people from all walks of life and there is no better way to do that than organizations like couchsurfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have yet to have any, but I'm hoping to when I hit the road this January.

兴趣

I love food. I love cooking it a, eating it and most of all sharing it. My goal in life is to open a restaurant with food from all over the world, and especially of those countries that the US is in conflict with. I believe that though sharing a meal a lot can be understood about "the other". I also love to write and dance. I should probably say I love to study too, but I consider my scholastic career just an amalgamation of cooking, writing and dancing, so really, it's not really a different love, just a different spin on them.

音乐、电影和书籍

I'm a fantasy and sci-fi obsessed geek. I read the books, I watch the movies and I listen to the soundtracks (not just of sci-fi and fantasy movies though, I believe that soundtrack music is the classical music of today). I also love latin music, especially to dance to.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have survived and traveled despite the odds. I have celiac disease(severe gluten intollegance) that has affected my immune system and energy level. I have managed to get healthy and am traveling despite the difficulties.

教，学，和分享

Cooking (from basic skills to sanitation to large even planning and catering) is what I do best, and have the most experience in sharing and teaching, but also writing and a bit of latin or middle-eastern dance.
