ABOUT ME

who am I and what am I doing with my life? I'm a awesome 24 year old nursing assistant. I currently work in rehabs and help post surgery patients get back home. I do ski patrol at mt. Hood and love every second of it. Im a pre-med student. right now life is work and school for me. Not too much free time, or money for that matter, but the sacrifice will be worth it in the end. If by chance I do have a free moment, I usually go ballroom or west coast swing dancing, or do something else active like going hiking.

PHILOSOPHY

I think that to experience is to truly live you life, so thereby to not experience new things is to be a step away from death.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy the classics as far as books go. I prefer something a little more meaty than just this ready-made easy to read flaccid English prose used nowadays. I love the scarlet letter. Nothing like a sentence that lasts half a page. Henry David Thoreau is another one of my top reads. Basically anything that has to deal with ecology, no matter which side of the ecological argument is promotes. other recent top reads: Doctor Zhivago, Three Cups of Tea, Fight club

I love comedies and am a sucker for a chick flick if we're talking movies. I really love anything with a good plot, or that does well at evoking a certain emotion, especially laughter

Food is another story. I attempt to eat as healthfully as possible given my busy schedule.

music includes but is not limited to...secondhand serenade, dashboard confessional, jack johnson, Al Green, Etta James, Blues music in general, Folk music for its stories, rock for it's drive and classical for it's serenity.

Snow shoe alone for 3 days to a fire lookout tower that looked over the mountains.
