About Me

I am a laid back person, if I'd have to choose a subculture I'd say I'm a roleplayer. I am working with youth to change the world a bit towards the better. I am striving always to be a better person and often I dissapoint myself because of that, but I have found some peace and appreciate every moment I have.
I want to live my life to the fullest without fucking things up for my future self or others :).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I couchsurf because I think it's a cool way to travel and be more in touch with the world.
I host because I want to give back and I have room and I can :).

I will accept everyone I can if I have time and energy. I am happy to share my home and food etc, but often I don't have the energy to hang out. So you don't have to try to find things in common when writing the request.
My boyfriend however loves boardgames (so do I, but less) and wants to accept anyone who wants to play boardgames :D.

Music, Movies, and Books

Roger Zelaznys books, Terry Pratchetts books, Harlan Ellisons short stories, Neil Gaimans books, Sergei Lukjanenkos books. I listen to all kinds of music depending on my mood. I don't usually listen to metal, pop, techno, but there are sometimes songs from these genres that I like. I enjoy dancing to 80s disco beats or anything else that has spunk. I also listen to folk music and I like the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I have tons of favourite movies, although I don't like how TV makes most people into zombies, I'm really into films. Again - I like all kinds of films, so I can't really name a genre - all of them have their jewels and coals. I liked: "The Cook, the Thief, his Wife and her Lover", "Nightmare before Christmas", "Breakfast Club", "What dreams may come", "Eraserhead" etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmm. It wasn't exactly amazing, but I't was very beautiful - after a LARP we were all leaving, but we had to walk along a railroad for about a kilometer to the train station. It was about 7 in the morning, the sky was light blue. I walk pretty fast so soon I was ahead of everyone exept this guy who was wearing a top hat and tailcoat. He also had a pink silk scarf around his neck and his hair was dyed half back-half white. The light, him, his clothes, the railway all mixed together in an amazing way and it was so beautiful. I desperately wished I had a camera, but at the same time I was enthralled by the sight and was doing my best to memorize it. So I stalked him until we reached to the station, sometimes stopping so I wouldn't get too close. It was the most beautiful sight I have ever seen. I'm still planning to go back there sometime and take someone with me who would wear the clothes, but I guess it won't be the same. Still I'm happy that I found such extraordinary beauty from an unexpected place.
