A bit about me...
I grew up on a tiny laid back artists island in the Pacific Northwest with parents who always nurtured my desire to travel and explore the world! About three years ago I moved to Australia permanently with my partner and travelled extensively living in a tiny van, which broadened my mind to alternative lifestyles and the happiness that can come with living off very little. I enjoy reading, surfing, writing, being active, playing backgammon and card games, being in the water as much as possible, LAUGHING,enjoying life, being silly and positive, learning, meeting people from all walks of life and challenging myself with getting out of my comfort zones.

I’m couch surfing because I’m interested in this amazing community that is interested in SHARING in a world that is too often obsessed with taking. Also, There have been so many circumstances where I’ve been to a country and felt like I had not fully been involved due to staying in a little room in a hotel. Meeting local people changes your experience so much for the better.

Rock, reggae, old school rap, jazz, blues, really ANY music (although really heavy metal gives me anxiety) favourite book is a heartbreaking work of staggering genius by Dave Eggers. Favourite movies include Forrest Gump, misery, when harry met sally, zoolander and oh so many more..
