The Basics:
I am from Denver, Colorado but have lived in Texas for the past 4 years
I am the youngest of three siblings (both boys) and one is a twin

My motto is "see the good" - in this crazy and sometimes intimidating world we live in it is easy to get caught up in the bad things in life. It is easy to fixate on that one negative aspect of your life or of a person. I find this especially true when meeting new people and experiencing new places.

I strive to see the good and beautiful individuality in every person I meet, place I go, and experience I have.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I just graduated from University and find joy in traveling.

Ever since I was a kid I have had a fascination with the world and a deep desire and pull to experience it. I would sit for hours and just look at maps. In 6th grade I actually won a local competition of who could find the most cities on a map the quickest. I think my parents were hoping this curiosity and interest in the world would subside or that I would be satisfied with just looking at these place on the map. They were wrong. When I was 16 I made a list of 100 places in the world I want to see before I turn 30. I have knocked off 25 so far.

Couchsurfing is hopefully a way for me to see and experience the world. I have never enjoyed being a tourist in a city. I find it enriching and valuable to see a place through a locals eyes. Couchsurfing is a way for my curiosity of the world to become a reality.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I love music - who doesn't? When asked my favorite genre, I cannot pick just one. I find myself gravitated towards the beat of a song. The words and the genre don't matter as much as the feeling and the rhythm of a song. All of this lies in the beat.

My favorite documentary is called Mountain.

My favorite author is Hermann Hesse or Paulo Coehlo

Right now I am reading Being Peace by Thich Nhat Hanh.
