ABOUT ME

I enjoy both the fast paced and slow life. I love meeting and getting to know new people from all over the world. Each new place I go, my circle grows and list of attachments to other parts of the world does too. I make it a point to connect to people internationally and cross cultural divides.

I am currently participating in an amazing internship in Akko, Israel that is teaching me about conservation and preservation in Israel and how that affects the people who live in important cultural heritage sites. I am also learning the complexities, politics, social issues, and policies involved with protecting areas of cultural significance and how that affects the people who live there.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in opening the mind and pushing comfort zones. There is always a new language to learn, and behind every language is a unique culture and a unique set of people. This goes for modern and ancient societies. I believe it is important to understand the other in order to gain peaceful cooperative international experience and am on a quest to discover how this can be done.

Right now I am participating in the most impressive and unique experience I have ever had in my life. I am with the most intelligent and compassionate group of people from all kinds of backgrounds interested in learning one thing: cultural heritage and conservation. Every day I meet new people and am more impressed than the day before.

I want to learn about everyone in the world! The more I put myself out there to learn and understand from others, the more I can feel myself grow as a person. When people are willing to expose themselves to new and strange experiences, I find the best people fit together.
