After many travels in the past I am now (2023) embarking on a 1 year trip around the north and south Americas. My goal is to explore new places and cultures and hope to meet many interesting people along the way to enrich my journey!

About me personally, I enjoy dancing to music I love but be warned, its mostly weird jerky movements inspired by the tunes. I am most certainly not a dancer.

As most of us, I love good food and even better drinks, preferably paired with good people&conversation. My funny side comes wholly from my partner Max but I will laugh heartily at jokes and will make shamefull attempts of my own.

I can get fully engrossed in a good book, all of it fiction. Please don’t disturb me while reading, I will be an awful conversational partner at those times.

I work for a non-profit organisation that helps children aged 4 to 18 find their talents and passion within the world of the beta sciences, as well as being a gymnastics trainer. Being scientifically trained myself and knowing the joy it has brought me, I will continue to support the children in the Netherlands making informed choices regarding their future from my laptop, but since I can't train my kids online I am more than willing to provide (easy ;p ) gymnastics lessons for my hosts :D

Musica, film e libri

I am a big lover of TV shows, but sitting down with Tolkien or Ruiz Zafon is also one of my favourite pastimes. However, I get restless when I am on my own for too long, so I generally tend to spend most of my free time enjoying my friends and family.

A skill I like to show off is my bar training. I love making cocktails and experimenting with different spirits and flavours to create drinks people love, both alcoholic and virgin of course ;)

I won’t try and expand on my musical preferences, because even I can’t keep track. In short, I’d say you can’t go wrong with some good old rock!

Not sure if it can truly be called amazing, but if you know how awful Austrian pearschnaps taste, you might find it a wonder I was able to create a delicious cocktail out of it.

Good (or bad) conversation, food&drinks and if you are brave enough I can teach you a bit of gymnastics. But just so you know, I won’t be gentle :p
