CURRENT MISSION

I'm looking for a non-balloon sleeping spot. (aka, would like to find a place to surf for the 2012 Albuquerque Balloon Festival)

PHILOSOPHY

We must live our lives in a way that helps the Earth recover and replenish, rather than deplete. It is definitely not always easy in this consumer society we live in, but we must give a valiant effort to do so. Whenever possible, we need to break away from "the machine," as I like to call it, and be okay with forging our own paths and being whomever we decide to be.

I try to remember the big picture, and as much as possible, try not to sweat the small stuff. Because the small stuff really won't matter in a week or a month or a year. Again, I do not always do as I say, but it something I attempt to practice as often as I can.

I believe every individual should continue to grow and develop to become their best self. There is always more to learn about ourselves and there is always room for growth. When one becomes stagnant, so does one's life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently in a travelling phase. But I will return the karmic favor by opening up my own home to CouchSurfers once I have said place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far my CouchSurfing is very limited. I was introduced to CS through my best friend, who utilized it when she came to visit me in Morocco. She had a great experience there and had other great hosts as she continued her travels to several other countries. I loved that people were willing to host her and that everyone was trusting (in a smart way) of one another. I look forward to being a guest for the first time!

Movie genre: I love suspense films! I consider movies to fit in this genre if they keep you guessing and excited to find out what happens next. It does not include horror. Example movies in "suspense" genre: The Bourne Series, Payphone, Cellular, Panic Room
I also love animated films, especially Pixar!

Books- I enjoy reading mysteries, realistic fiction, and fairy tale-based fantasy.

Music- I am versatile, however I prefer American Country most. Second choice would be folk music. Third favorite is bluegrass. Also have classical, classic rock, pop, new age, world, and instrumental on my Ipod. DISLIKE metal, hard rock, grunge, etc.

Wow- just one?! I've been keeping a journal of my adventures and crazy things. I interned with a hot air balloon pilot at the end of my senior year of high school.
