ABOUT ME

I am a friendly person who is open to lots of social and cultural experiences. I am a night and day person (depending on my mood!), I love museums, food, and I will always be willing to help someone out and compromise. I don't like conflict, and I can be a pretty reliable person. I'm looking for experiences with other open minded people who want to engage in a cultural exchange and show me their world!

Intereses

Right now I'm studying in Aix-en-Provence, France. Usually in the States I study at a small college in Pennsylvania and I love getting the chance to travel to new places. I love sports and running, I play field hockey, and my hobbies include photography and cooking. I study History and French and am interested in pursuing a career in the media industry (but I'm still pretty undecided about all that!)

Love Johnny Depp movies, romantic comedies, history/drama, film noir, French film. Addicted to the Harry Potter series, Jonathan Franzen, Kurt Vonnegut, Hemingway, Margaret Atwood - anything with a great story.

1. Feeling the plane land on the tarmac in Paris in January: the start of my semester abroad.
2. Hiking in California with my family and seeing Yosemite valley.
3. Going to Istanbul and experiencing the massive crush of people on the streets during the weekend nights.

I know lots of weird history facts. I know how to make friendship bracelets, but I'm no good at braiding hair. I love learning how to cook new things, and I can make a mean pesto sauce.
