About Me
CURRENT MISSION: survive 9-5.
Appreciating very day and accepting it for what it is. Living with less, but living more. Learning from each interaction.
In 2015, a friend and I walked the camino de Santiago, which taught me important lessons on patience and appreciation for nature, more than I had had before. It is my goal to continue to live everyday as I did on the camino.
While I travel, I am trying to see as many ways of doing the same thing as possible, this is one of the things I love most about traveling. I love being able to mix and match customs and habits from different cultures and adapt them to my daily routine, it makes life much more colorful and exciting.
ABOUT ME
Trying to figure out how I can live every day to fulfill my vision of the world for myself and for others of making sure that all human beings are safe, free, and self-expressed.
PHILOSOPHY
Try to find the humor in everything, and try not to take anything too seriously. Laughing, and humor, build bridges and create bonds. Humor should be taken more seriously (jeje). I aim (I don't always succeed, but I try) to treat everyone I meet as special and important. We all have something to offer, and we are all able to fulfill a specific purpose. Unlocking that is beautiful.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I participated in cs for the first time during a trip I took with my friend through parts of Latin America. We had an amazing time with all of our hosts. I had great experiences in Europe two years later and now I'm looking forward to what's to come here in Australia.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had an overall great experience with all of my hosts. They each were different yet great in their particular ways. Many made us feel like part of the family.
Interests
Eating, reading, dancing, discussions, hiking. LAUGHING! (It can save the world)
Reading at a cafe. Drinking cider on a lawn. Walking. Making weird videos, mashups, and impersonations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My favorite moments have been in wonderful places with wonderful people and spontaneous festivities, when nothing is planned and everything works out.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach/learn/share- languages, points of view, favorite recipes, Zumba, dance, fitness.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Apart from bringing humor and a positive attitude, I am also a fitness instructor. If you want classes, you can let me know.
My friend Erin and I (she's the cook, I'm her assistant) love to make creative dishes out of the bare minimum ingredients. We've gotten very resourceful now that we've been doing the east coast of Australia. Some of our favorites are chickpea fritters with kimchi aoli and protein-packed oat and banana pancakes. We've love to cook for you!!
