ABOUT ME

I'm a former social studies teacher who has moved to Germany for travel and adventure. I want to meet fun, friendly people who enjoy traveling and culture and meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is beautiful and meant to be lived to it's fullest. I loved my teaching job, but I think I need to travel and experience more of the world for a bit - I cannot wait to get back to it though.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm looking to travel and make new friends; I don't have my apartment set yet in Holzgerlingen, but when I do I'm excited to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only couch surfed with people I know before, so this is a new experience for me.

Interests

I love reading and learning about history. Traveling is one of my passions and it's the reason I've moved here. I'm big on architecture and photography.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read everything - some of my favorites would have to be Gone with the Wind, Tales from Nowhere, and National Geographic.
Movies would have to be Gladiator, What Dreams May Come, and The Princess Bride.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've ever done in my life is my adventure to Iceland; a group of fiends and I rented a car and just drove Ring Road along the coast. Someday I hope to go back and ride my bike around the whole island.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have lots of random knowledge on history and places, but have lived a great life full of adventure and amazing people. I think life is all about the people we meet and the experiences we have.
