ABOUT ME

I am a super outgoing native Chicagoian qho lived in both Paris and Lyon. I studied in Paris 2 years ago and traveled all over Europe (see travels lol). I lived in Lyon and worked as an English teaching assistant at 3 primary schools. I love to go out and have fun and I will eat almost anything ha ha ha. Hopefully I will be back to Europe very soon....that is after I actually get a job and earn some money.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've just started on CS but I did do some couching surfing with a friend of mine for a ski trip earlier in February. I loved it and I was really happy with the host and when I get a chance to host more I will of course do more! I can host in the United States here since I live in the suburbs of Chicago. Hopefully when I am back in Europe I will host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Traveled to Chamonix, France with a friend and stayed in an amazing chalet with an amazing CSer! Even got to spend an extra night there and he hooked us up with his friend's place to crash at just so we could see more of the city. I hope to have a lot more experience in the future!

Interests

I love to travel and speak different languages. I really find it interesting seeing how different people live all over the world, weather it be a native from that country or even someone like me just there for a short time. I would love to travel to more exotic places and meet new people! I also love music and going to concerts! I've been to see over 200 bands in my days and that's just the beginning! French and Italian culture especially interest me since I speak the language but I'm always looking to expand my vocab wherever I am!

Music, Movies, and Books

anything and everything! Currently into French cinema (living in Lyon you kinda hafta be!), the Merde series by Stephan Clarke for books and as always any kinda of music that I can dance to/sing along with/chill out and listen to!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to Ireland, England, Scotland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Czech Republic, Luxembourg, and Germany all why studying in Paris and I don't regret a single trip or euro spent! Using the Louvre as a library to study, climbing to the top of the Duomo in Florence while having the flu, and spending Halloween in Madrid are just some highlights and I hope to keep things up! Visited Warsaw and Copenhagen for like 6 hours each and had an amazing time still!

Teach, Learn, Share

I spent 9 months studying and living in Paris and now I've been in Lyon for 6 months teaching English. I spent time as a "tour guide" to some friends visiting Europe and would like nothing more than to continue to share my experiences with others from all over.
