I learned Spanish while growing up, and studied Mandarin Chinese while in university at Oberlin College. I practice speaking when I can but am not actively studying, and cannot claim full fluency.. I try! My partner also speaks Spanish and is learning Italian.

I love to read , run, cook, bike, hike, rock climb, draw, and learn languages! I love meeting new people, going new places, and making friends (duh!)!

My favorite way to explore a city is by foot! Whether that's spending a whole day walking, and letting my curiosity direct me, or planning a long running route!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I work odd 12-hour shifts, but if you're travel dates work with my schedule, will be delighted to host, its been a delight to meet travelers and enrich their Seattle experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've couch surfed with a couple of absolutely wonderful people in Beijing. I still keep in touch with a few. During spring festival a family taught me to 包饺子 (fold dumplings). I’ve just started hosting and am loving that just as much.
