I nurse, I bake, I take pictures, I eat, I travel, I marvel.

I spend way too much time at my computer, but I've also moved 8500 miles in the past three years. There must be a happy medium between those extremes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a couple of folks while I was living in Los Angeles. Naturally it rained (LA isn't much fun when it's not sunny), so I made cookies and we played Bananagrams. Not a bad time, weather notwithstanding!

Interests

Reading while walking. Kneading bread dough. Attempting to cultivate self-discipline. Swing dancing, badly. Knitting, or crocheting - it changes frequently. Spoiling my two ridiculous cats. Learning proper photography. Becoming a better citizen of the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent three weeks driving across the US by myself. ~6,000 miles, hundreds of pictures, gallons of coffee, and countless amazing sights. Chased a gorgeous sunset westward across the Great Plains and made time stand still for just a little while.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to cook and bake! Never taught anyone how before, but I'm not a bad teacher in general, so it could work.
